Merino Blankets

Feel the remarkable softness of this wool. The wool in these blankets comes from Catskill Merino, a farm in Swan Lake, NY, that specializes in the breeding and raising of finewool merino sheep. After the fleece is shorn and washed, it is custom spun by an historic New England woolen mill, then woven into blankets by Peggy on her antique looms. The woven designs are original, but inspired by the American coverlet tradition.
